Felix Guadalupe Reta

Felix Guadalupe Reta, age 47, of Landis, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Born in San Benito, TX, Felix was the beloved son of Jose Guadalupe Reta and Felicitas Martinez Reta. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during Iraqi Freedom (2005-2006) and continued his service as a 1st Sergeant in the U.S. National Guard for a total of 27 years. Professionally, Felix contributed 25 years to Superior Walls.

A passionate 49ers fan, Felix enjoyed fishing and staying fit. Above all, he was a devoted husband and proud loving father. He was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. To those who knew him, Felix, was a dedicated family man whose fiery spirit left a permanent mark on everyone he crossed paths with.

Felix was predeceased by his sister, Pearl “Tata” Reta. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 21 years, Jasmin Reta; sons, Marcus Reta and Angel Arroyo; daughters, Anahi Reta, Ruby Reta, and Victoria Reta; sisters, Alejandra Mashburn (Josh), Yesenia Reta (Brandon), and Kristin Reta (Jesus); and grandchildren, Jayden Arroyo and Camila Arroyo.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2026 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors provided by Marines/NC National Guard.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home.
