Elizabeth Louise Campbell, 69, of Kannapolis, passed away on October 19, 2026 following a long illness.

A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park on Friday, November 20, at 3:00 p.m.

Elizabeth was born on June 24, 1957, in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Charlie Raymond and Louise Pope Campbell.

Elizabeth was a lifelong resident of the area and a longtime member of Sharon Baptist Church. Before becoming disabled, she worked as a nurse’s aide at various local nursing homes. Her caring nature and compassion for others were evident throughout her life.

Elizabeth loved music, animals, the mountains, and the beach, but most of all, she loved her family and the Lord. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found comfort and strength in her relationship with God. She had a kind and loving heart and was an amazing person whose warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She especially adored her cat, Wiggles, who brought her great joy and companionship.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Ralph Campbell and his wife, Pam, and her sister, Tammy Campbell, all of Kannapolis; her brother in Christ, David Bynum of Concord; her niece, Priscilla Johnson, whom she considered a daughter; and her great-niece, Kylie Johnson, whom she considered a granddaughter, both of Salisbury. She is also survived by her two sons, Michael and Jason, as well as their children.

Elizabeth will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving spirit, strong faith, and beautiful memory will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
