Elijah Grey Hicks

Elijah Grey Hicks, age 1 month & 9 days, of Concord/Landis, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital.

Elijah was born November 18, 2025, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina to Cameron Hicks and Madison Allman.

He was preceded in death by Brenda and Wayne Allman (great-grandparents), David Keziah and Jearlean Burleyson (great-grandparents), Todd Hicks (great-grandfather).

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Whitley's Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, officiated by Reverend Carl Fosdick.

Survivors include parents, Madison Allman and Cameron Hicks of Landis, NC; big sister, Hadley Hicks; grandparents, Michael and Sherry Allman and Shannon and Erin Douglas; and Great-grandparents, Eva Kuhn, Ann Hicks, and Pete and Connie Corcoran.

Elijah Grey was a miracle from conception and continued to be one throughout his life, however short. Elijah is a testament to strength and the power of God. We ask that Elijah not be remembered by the heartache of his loss but by the strength and determination that he demonstrated while he was here with us.
