Doug Gibson

Doug Gibson, 58, of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 at his home.

He was born February 10, 1967 in Pontiac, MI to Annetta Louise Blevins Gibson and the late Kenny Don Gibson.

Doug drove a semi truck for R+L Carriers out of China Grove, He was a very family oriented person, Doug and his wife Carol enjoyed traveling especially going to Daytona Beach, he loved riding his Kawasaki Vulcan, and he loved and adored his pets.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Lynn Carpenter in 2000.

Those left to cherish his memory, his wife Carol Gibson, son, Russell Gibson and his wife Amanda, his mother, Annetta Blevins Gibson, brother, Kenny Don (Donny) Gibson II and his wife Debbie, his kitty cats Mac and Juicy, and his grand dog Toby.

A private service will be held at a later date.
