Donna Kay Cross

KANNAPOLIS: Donna Kay Cross, 76, died on Wednesday July 15, 2026, at her residence. She was born on September 14, 1949, daughter of the late Robert and Ellie Griggs Hagler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death with four sisters, Ethel Hunt, Barbara Safrit and Juanita Wyatt and Bobbie Mansingo, and three brothers Richard Halger, Mickey Hagler, and Melvin Hagler. She is survived by her daughter Kay Gross in Rollins NC, 3 grandchildren Joseph Cross, Chandler Cross and LeAnne Lopez and four greatgrandchildren. One sister Linda Mann, China Grove.

There will be a graveside service at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist cemetery in Lexington at 3 p.m. on Monday July 20.2026, the Rev. Trey Palmer will be officiating.

Donna loved the Lord. It was always a joy to be in her presence. She was always sure to make you smile no matter how life was at the time. We find peace in knowing that Donna is now made whole and her memories will be treasured for a lifetime. 2 Corinthians 5:8.
