Donna Kay Beaver

Donna Kay Beaver, 79, of Landis, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Born on July 31, 1945, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Winford Cannon and Annie Kathleen Adams Cannon.

Throughout her life, Donna dedicated herself to her work and family. She built a long and fulfilling career in retail, which she enjoyed until her retirement. A devoted member of Rodgers Park Reformed Church, Donna’s faith was a central aspect of her life and guided her in all her endeavors.

Donna found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished her time at the beach and loved the tranquility of camping. Above all, her family was her pride and joy. She will be deeply missed by those who had the fortune of knowing her, especially her husband of 63 years, James “JW” Beaver, and their beloved daughter Debbie McKinney and her husband Jeff. Donna delighted in the lives of her two grandchildren, Matthew Bare and Devin Bare, and was overjoyed to welcome three great-grandchildren, Gabriella Bare, AnnaLee Bare, and Sophia Bare. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

While Donna’s presence will be profoundly missed, her legacy of love and kindness will continue through her family and all who knew her. A memorial service to honor her memory will be held at a later date.
