Charles Bryan Britt

Charles Bryan Britt was born in South Carolina on February 29,1940 to his parents, the late John Braddy Britt and Mary Magdaline (“Maggie”) Lovett Britt. He departed this life on July 11, 2025, at Brookview Healthcare Center in Gaffney, South Carolina completing his journey of 85 years.

Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his siblings: Andrew Zack “A.Z.” Britt Sr., Boyce Allen Britt, Robert Earl Britt, Mildred Elvington, Hazel Stevens Currier, Shirley Jernigan, Marilyn Barr, and Patricia (“Patsy”) Britt Poole; his son, Charles Jeff Britt, and his grandson, Austin Beverly.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Betty Joyce Dent (David); his children: David Bryan Britt (Shara) of Graham, Teresa Dawn Lippard (Barry) of Huntersville, and Christi Lynn Britt of Asheville; his grandchildren: Joshua Britt(Keona) of Graham, Garrett Britt(Aprille) of Snow Camp, Matthew Britt(Brianna) of Graham, and Cameron Beverly(Kelli) of Marshville; and his great-grandchildren: Gavin Atkinson, Caiden Britt, Landon Britt, Adrian Britt, and Henry Britt, plus a host of extended relatives.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Boulevard, Kannapolis, North Carolina, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Park, 601 Mount Olivet Road, Concord, North Carolina.
