Cecil Allen Orbison

Cecil Allen Orbison, 53, of Rockwell went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Northeast following a one month illness.

Allen was born January 2, 1968 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of the late Cecil Brown and Peggy Carolyn Wagoner Orbison.

He was of the Methodist Faith, Allen had been employed at Trane Technology in Charlotte for 20 years as a computer technician.

He was an avid fisherman and camper and loved the Outer Banks.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Family members left to cherish Allen’s life include his wife of 34 years; Donna Franklin Orbison, two daughters; Kammie Orbison and Amber Orbison both of Salisbury, one son, Jason Orbison  (Amber) of Salisbury. One granddaughter, Aspen Orbison, whom he called “Sweetie Pie”, brother, Jimmy Orbison and wife Kim of Kannapolis, three sisters; Vickie Wiggins of Mt. Pleasant, Debbie Schenk of Concord and Brenda Wiggins of Kannapolis.  He is also survived by his beloved four legged friend Doby.
