Carroll Wilkes Brown

Carroll Brown, 58, of Kannapolis, passed away Wednesday morning, November 25, 2020, at his home, surrounded by love.

Born December 5, 1962, in Mecklenburg County, he was a son of the late Harold Leon Brown and Carolyn Jean Smith Brown.  In addition to his parents, Carroll was preceded in death by a sister, Tonda Troglin, and his brother, Tim Brown.

Carroll Brown was a much loved man, and he loved all of his family and friends.  He had been a heavy equipment operator, truly enjoyed his Harley Davidson and loved spending time with his canine companions, Terk and Sky. A devoted and loyal husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather, Carroll will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Loving family members include his wife, Alexa Brown; his children, Michael Alexander, Misti Stephens (Kenneth Horn), Matthew Alexander (Dee), Amy Cannon (Skipper) and Mary Dawn Irvin; his sisters, Sharon Owens (Todd) and Lisa Holmes, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A memorial service to remember and celebrate Carroll’s life will be planned and announced at a later date.
