Carol Hamilton Lowder

Carol H. Lowder, 82, of Kannapolis, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Big Elm Assisted Living.

She was born April 26, 1943 in Cabarrus Co. to the late Charles Wesley Hamilton and Inez Broadway Hamilton.

Carol worked for Cannon Mills for 20 plus years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, and cross stitching, Carol loved spending time with her granddaughters and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael “Mike” Lowder, her brothers Delmar, twin Harold and Floyd Hamilton and one sister Helen Donaldson.

Those left to cherish her memory, two sons, Scot Lowder (Melissa), Eric Lowder (Lorie), granddaughters, Ashlyn Lowder and Avery Lowder, and numerous nieces and nephews survive.

A service will be held at a later date.
