Brian Lee Currin

Brian Lee Currin , 56, of Concord, NC passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2023. He was the son of the late Paul Taylor and Evelyn Boone Currin of Kannapolis.

His work life was fulfilled at Pepsi Bottling Ventures, Carvana, Irvan-Smith Inc, and Winn-Dixie.

Brian was outgoing, always had a smile on his face and was willing to help anyone with anything. Everyone that knew him, loved being around him. Brian loved barbecuing, restoring cars and being with Anne, Shannon, Wesley and Owen.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Emily Taylor Currin and grandmother Susan “Jack” Boone.

Brian is survived by his loving daughter, Shannon (Wesley Phillips), grandson, Owen,  life partner, Anne Morales, her sons, Mark, Joey and Matt and sisters, Paula Currin of Charlotte, NC and Beth Loew(Chuck) of Weddington, NC.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 2PM-5PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home Annex Chapel.

Burial will be private.
