Brenda Kaye Stamey

Brenda Kaye Stamey, 76, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away Monday, August 16th in her sleep. She was born April 6, 1945 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Stamey and Jennie Wallace Stamey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death  by four brothers, two sisters and ex-husband Curtis Robinson, Sr.

Brenda leaves behind three children, Angela Griffin (Ricky) of Mooresville, Marty Robinson (Loretta Ruiz-Robinson) of Boynton Beach. FL., Curtis A. Robinson, Jr of Mooresville, 8 grandchildren, Christopher Robinson (Angela) of FL., Joshua Griffin (Sara) of Landis, Amanda Robinson Riggenbach (Paul), of FL., Michael Griffin (Shelly) of Kannapolis, Kevin Griffin (Katie) of China Grove, Nicholas Ruiz-Robinson, Valesska Ruiz-Robinson, Alessandria Ruiz-Robinson, 6 grandchildren and her sister, Elaine Beaver of Kannapolis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 27th at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends prior from 1 to 2 at Whitley’s.
