Bobbie was born November 9, 1929 to the late Orrin Henry and Carrie Combs Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Elliott. After the death of her husband, James D. Cline, Bobbie later married the late Boyd Pigg.
A lifelong area resident, Bobbie was a graduate of J.W. Cannon High School, class of 1948. She was a lifetime member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement to care for her mother, she was employed with Terry Products. She loved to quilt and made them for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Bobbie also made quilts for hospice patients and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Bobbie was a strong, independent, Christian woman. She was a faithful servant and her strength came from her faith in God. She leaves a wonderful legacy of love for God and family. Even when her mind was fading, she would say over and over, "I'm blessed and feel loved."
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; David Cline of Harrisburg, Donna Coone (David) of Kannapolis, Teresa Hurst (James) of Las Cruces, NM. In addition, she has nine grandchildren who love her dearly; Brian, Catherine, Ashley, Jason, Lauren, Joe, Chris, Jacob, Megan. Also, two great grandchildren; Raelynne and Monte.
The family will be forever grateful for the love and compassion shown from the wonderful caregivers and Hospice.
