Billy O'Neal

Van Byerly (Billy) O’Neal, 64, of Mt. Pleasant died December 11, 2019. He was born February 2, 1955 in Dalton County, SC, a son of the late Evander and Verlie O’Neal. He was one of 12 children,  Payton, Carl, David, Cricket, Linda Ann, Janice, Cindy, Steve, William, Faye and Elaine.

Billy owned and operated A & P Grading and Gravel. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle. He also enjoyed drawing, painting and playing guitar.

A gathering of friends will be from 6 to 8 PM Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis.

He is survived by his son, Shawn Lacks and wife, Tracey, 4 grandchildren, William Eric Lacks, Kylee Lacks, Jasmine Lacks, Mikayleigh Hatley as well as brothers and sisters.
