Billie Robert Evans

Billie Robert Evans, 80, of China Grove, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020. He was born December 18, 1939 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Roy Evans and Maude Faircloth Evans. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sheets Evans on October 4, 2016.

Billie retired from Cannon Mills where he was a supervisor for many years. After retirement, he worked as a painter.

A private graveside service will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy McKnight and Rhonda Johnson (Brian), grandchildren, Kevin McKight (Lauren), Haley Lay (Pat), Lauren Johnson, Landon Johnson, Greatgrandchild, Lucas McKnight, two sisters, Gaile Ritter, Sharon Cooper.
