Avonda Lee Albright

Avonda Lee Rudolph Albright, 87, died February 4, 2026, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Aldersgate after a period of declining health.

Private services will be held a later date.

Avonda was born November 22, 1938 in Paducah, KY, the daughter of the late Pleasant Edward Rudolph and Marguerite Walker Rudolph.

In addition to her parents, Avonda was preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon Larry Albright and granddaughter Kaycee Walker.

She worked alongside her husband in the family business in furniture sales.

She is survived by her brother, Gerald Rudolph of Mechanicsville VA, and 5 children; her son Michael Lane Albright (Maria) of Needham Heights MA and her four daughters; Carey (Greg) Armistead of Denver NC, Tamra (Gene) Roberts-Dicks of Oskaloosa IA, Staci (Ryan) Wilson of Flower Mound TX, and Alisha Johnson of Flower Mound TX.

Avonda is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name can be made to Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church.
