Aryan “Alan” Sartain, 25, of Concord, passed away on June 10, 2026.
Alan was born on January 30, 2001 in Cabarrus County. He was a cherished son of Justin Alan Sartain and Roseanne Marie Crowley Stone. Alan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Ann Watkins; great-grandparents, Alan and Zelma Woods; uncle, Charley Fletch Watkins; great- uncle, Johnny Woods; great aunt, Polly Crowley; and baby cousin, Jessica Hammonds.
The beach was one of Alan’s favorite places, where he could relax and spend time with family and friends. Music was always a part of his life, and he loved all kinds of music in every genre.
As a dog groomer, Alan dedicated his work to caring for pets, a reflection of the love he had for animals throughout his life. Alan’s beloved dogs, Toka and Rosie, were his constant companions and brought him endless joy. He was rarely far from a Red Bull or a cup of coffee and was always ready for a good conversation. He especially loved a little gossip.
Alan will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for animals, and the happiness he brought to family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Roseanne Stone and stepfather, Douglas Stone; father, Justin Stone; mother of the heart, Jeanette Greene; sibling, Faith Stone; partner, Brian Garz; grandfather, Fletch Crowley; his beloved dogs, Tokey and Rosie; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis. Funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00pm with Rev. Paul Moss officiating. Burial will be at Rowan Memorial in Salisbury.
