Anthony J. Gallo, lovingly known as Tony, passed away peacefully, October 10th, 2025, in Kannapolis, NC surrounded by his loving wife, Seomara Gallo and his children. Tony was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 14, 1942 to John and Vera Simone Gallo, and was the youngest of a family of nine brothers and sisters. Tony is survived by his loving children, Ivette Aquilino and son-in-law, David of Stratford, CT; Anthony Almaguer and companion Kellie Elabass, Yvonee Almaguer-Hicks and Daughter-in-law Connie Hicks of Salisbury; his 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren he adored; and many nieces and nephews.
Tony was a graduate of Harding High School and proudly served in the US Armed Forces from November 1961 to November 1963. Seo was the love of his life and they married on May 3, 1986 which was what he said "was the best thing that happened to him". Tony was great at making lifelong friends everywhere. He worked with his brother at Frank's News and The Crescent Club in Bridgeport, AFCO-LYCOMING in Stratford and retired from the Town of Westport. His absolute joy in life was gardening and tending to his beautiful flowers and manicured lawn. He was an avid sports fan. He had a life well-lived and will be forever missed and treasured in our hearts.
Services will be held at Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis at 2:00pm Thursday October 16, 2025. Officiated by Pastor Bill Coleman of He's Alive Church.
