Tonda Overcash Hollars, 44, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Atrium Health Cabarrus, following a brief illness.
Born June 9, 1975 in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of Hal and Susan Branch Overcash.
In addition to her parents, family members include her stepmother, Linda Overcash; her son, Trey Hollars (Kristen); her siblings, Todd Overcash and his fiancée, Jessica, Steve Ross (Teresa), Clyde Ross (Audrey), Angie Ross and Gregg Ross, special cousin, Jeffrey Kiser, 6 niece, 6 nephews, special nephew, Andrew Marlow. Gone too soon, Tonda will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm Saturday, January 18th at Whitley’s Funeral Home. Services to remember and celebrate Tonda’s life will begin at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Robert Harrington and Raymond Ross, Pastors. At other times, the family will be at the home of Roy and Pam Lucas. Tonda will be laid to rest at Sunrise Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Kannapolis.
