Rickard (Rick) David Wilkerson

Rickard David Wilkerson 66, of Kannapolis NC passed away after a short illness on Dec. 3, 2019. “Rick” was the son of Verna Patterson Wilkerson and the late Bobby McKinzie Wilkerson.

Rick is survived by his only son Senior Chief Petty Officer Brian David Wilkerson and his wife Cheryl of Chesapeake VA., step grandchildren,  Brad Miller of San Diego CA, Hailey Peterson of Morganton and great grandchild, Jaxon Miller of Morganton, NC. Also surviving are his two former spouses who he remained close to over the years, Joann Stegall of Landis and Donna Wilkerson of Kannapolis.

Services will be held on Saturday Dec. 7th at 12:00 p.m. at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel. His family will receive friends prior from 11:00 to 12:00. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one’s choice in Rick’s memory.
