MICHAEL WILLIAM COPELAND

Obituary: Michael William Copeland, 58, of China Grove went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at CMC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord following a short illness. Michael was born April 22, 1961 in Randolph County, NC a son of the late William Lawrence and Barbara Ann Garmon Copeland. Michael was of Wesleyan Faith. He was a 1979 graduate of South Rowan High School. Prior to ill health he was a journeyman pipe fitter. He enjoyed fishing, playing all sports and spending time with his grandchildren and family. Family members left to cherish his memory are his son, Joshua Copeland of China Grove, his daughter, Taylor Campbell and husband Bryan of China Grove, two grandchildren, Nolan Miller and Delaney Campbell, one sister, Donna Moore of Kannapolis and two nephews; Robert and Jonathan Moore. A Memorial Service to celebrate Michael's life will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday, July 26, 2019 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Jesse Garmon.
