Earnesteene (Ann) Ann Hill

Earnesteene Ann Griffin Hill, 71, of Kannapolis, went into her heavenly home on Thursday, October 3, 2019.

She was born on May 12, 1948 to the late Mark Edward Griffin and Evelyn Byrum Griffin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Hill.

Earnesteene was a long-time member of Midway United Methodist Church. She was very active in many ministries including the Opportunity House, Narrow Gate Ministries, and the Salvation Army. She was a compassionate woman of faith who devoted her time to helping others.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Derick Hill; sister, Mary Price, and dear friend, Susan Talbert.

A memorial service will be held at Midway United Methodist Church on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. William Van Wieren and Rev. Anita Sain officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Opportunity House, 72 Corban Ave SW, Concord, NC 28025.
