David L. Stanley

David Lane Stanley, 61, of Concord, formerly of San Antonio TX, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 19, 2019.

A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 6 PM Monday, September 23 at Sharon Baptist Church, 2628 Shady Lane Concord, NC 28027, with Rev. Dr. James Strickland officiating. His family will receive friends at the church after the memorial service.

David was born May 16, 1958 in Patuxent River, MD, a son of Thomas and Barbara Obermiller Stanley.  David was raised in the San Antonio TX area. He was a certified master RV technician. He moved to Concord three years ago with his wife Kim, where he worked for Tom Johnson’s Camping World and then Golden Gate Trailers as master mechanic. He enjoyed being a mechanic, attending NASCAR Races and spending time with his family.  David was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He will be dearly missed

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kim Starcher Stanley of the home, his sons, Jason Stanley (Jessica) of Kannapolis, NC and Steven Stanley of Concord, NC, 2 grandchildren, Lilly and Paisley, his parents, Thomas Stanley of Bay City, TX and Barbara Stanley of San Antonio TX, brother, Jeffrey Stanley (Tami), sister Ruthie Gallengher (Tom) and nieces and nephews.
