Christine (Scarborough) Malcolm

Christine Malcolm, 90, of Concord, passed away, Thursday November 14, 2019, at Accordius Health of Concord.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday November 16, 2019 at Whitley’s Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Fosdick officiating, burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at Whitley’s Funeral Home.

She was born February 10, 1929,  in Madison Co, GA to the late Forest and Bessie Scarborough.

Christine enjoyed life, she loved working outside in her flower garden, and enjoyed the Christmas season, in her younger years she played guitar in a bluegrass band, she loved spending time with her family and she was a very giving and caring person she will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Elmer Malcolm, and several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory, daughter Brenda Goodman (Leroy) of Kannapolis, grandsons, Charles Goodman Jr. (Angela) of Kannapolis, Jason Goodman of Kannapolis, one great grandson Corbin Goodman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
