Betty Lou Mason

Betty Lou Mason, 87, of Salisbury passed away peacefully on October 10th surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Mason is preceded in death by her parents Bessie, and Banks Lefler and also her husband James Mason. She leaves behind her daughter Connie Mason Laughter, grandchildren Jennifer (Shannon) Payne, Landon (Kelsey) Laughter, along with great-grandchildren, Mason, Kadynn, and Maddox Payne, and Lillie Laughter.  Mrs. Mason also leaves behind a sister Linda Whitley and a brother Larry (Rosalee) Lefler.

Mrs. Mason loved gardening, attending church, and above all else her family. She will be greatly missed, but remembered fondly by all those she leaves behind.

A visitation for Mrs. Mason will be held at Whitley’s Funeral Home on Sunday, October 13th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a service to follow. Burial will ensue at Carolina Memorial Park.
