John Louis Grayovski

John Louis Grayovski, 79 years old, of Harrisburg, NC, went to be with his Lord on March 26, 2024.  John was born in Somerville, NJ on October 30, 1944, to the late Louis and Betty Steele Grayovski.

John proudly served his country in the US Airforce.  He was a very spiritual man who liked to read the Bible, and books on philosophy.   John was an electrician and a proud member in the brotherhood of IBEW Local 25 on Long Island, NY for many years until his retirement.  He loved music from the 60’s and was an avid collector of books, records, and VHS tapes.

John was predeceased by his caring stepson, William “Billy” Sawicki, III. Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 32 years, Jo Ann  Grayovski; his loving children, John Raymond Grayovski and Deborah Ann Grayovski; his cherished grandchildren, Chelesea Sawicki, Bristol Sawicki, William “Bill” Sawicki, IV and Taylor Sawicki; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Sawicki; his brother-in-law, Larry Kern and his wife Julie and his sisters, Janice and Betty Lou.

John will be laid to rest with military honors at Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island, NY on April 11, 2024, at 1pm.
