Barbara Ann (Keeter) Overcash

Barbara Ann Keeter Overcash, 85, of Mooresville passed away March 5, 2024. She was born December 23, 1938 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late John and Sallie Keeter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel “Tom” Overcash in 2011.

Barbara had previously worked as a security guard at Cannon Mills. She also was a waitress at the former Hill’s Restaurant in Concord. Barbra loved living at Lake Norman and riding on her pontoon boat. She also loved traveling and going on cruises.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior at Whitley’s.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, David Pittmon and Dell Pittmon (Cindy), 5 grandchildren, Skylar and Tanner Pittmon, Steve Swann, Andy and Kevin Pittmon and 2 great grandchildren, Addison and Morgan.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County.
