Jack had 27 years in nursing home ministries, and had hosted barbecue and prayer meetings in the barn at his farm for 30 years. He was a loyal member of West A Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he had served in various positions and played his guitar and sang. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Bostian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family members left with cherished memories include his wife of 32 years Claudine A. Bostian; his children Donnie Bostian (Angie) and Julie Bostian (Jason); his stepchildren Randall Sloop, Sr. (Lynn), Stanley Sloop (Brenda) and Stephanie Holshouser (Kevin); his 14 grandchildren Randy Sloop, Jr., Matthew and Kayla Bostian, Brittany Badgett, Jessica Jones, Joseph and Caroline Badgett, Hayden Jones, Cody Holshouser, Tim Badgett, Paige and Haley Sloop, Jake Holshouser and Payton Sloop, his great-grandchildren Bryson and Adalyn Bostian; his brothers and sisters Robert Bostian (Karry), Clyde Bostian (Frances), Grady Bostian (Peggy), Delbert Bostian (Sharon), MaryNell McCarn (Charles) and Selee Thompson.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Corriher Heights Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the church, conducted by the Revs. Rodney Efird and Chuck Overcash. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
