Christopher Michael Mallette, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his home.

He was born September 13, 1979 in Malden, MA, the son of Robert Rowe and Pamela Louise Mallette Rowe.

Chris worked for Wash Me Detail in China Grove, NC. He was known by family and friends to be a Tony Stewart racing fan and also pulled for the Oakland Raiders. As an outdoorsman, he loved fishing and lived life to the fullest. He was thought of by many as a man who would do practically anything for you that he could.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his residence, 615 Stirewalt Road, China Grove, NC by Rev. Arthur Heggins. Burial will be at a later date.

Survivors include his wife of three years, April Eggert Mallette; five children, Isaiah James Mallette, Ashton Mallette, Angelica Eggert, Maribel Aragon, and James Aragon; his grandson, Noah Eggert; his brother, James A Fuller, Sr. (Jennifer Brown); and three step-sisters, Jill Amante, Janice Schultz (Ryan), and Jennifer Rowe; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083 to pay for funeral arrangements.
