Obituary:
Lyndall Wood Campbell, 69, died while surrounded by family on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at CMC NorthEast, from breast cancer.

Lyndall was born August 26, 1947 in Harmony, NC. She graduated from Union Grove High School and then Appalachian State University in 1969. Lyndall taught High School Spanish for 32 years at South Rowan High School. During her years of teaching, she escorted many groups of students to Europe, with Spain being her favorite country. She saw many live bull fights with her students. Paris, Rome and London were also cities the various groups visited. Lyndall attended Baptist churches from a babe till her death. She loved God and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her next greatest love was people. Life was great for her and she loved to tell stories and listen to other peopleís life stories. Always smiling, always laughing, life was grand. The last 10 years of Lyndallís life was devoted to her four grandchildren; Jackson Campbell, Patrick Campbell, Chloe Campbell and Merin Standford. God, her family and people were her joys.

Lyndall was preceded in death by her son Marty Brian Campbell. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Michael Campbell, her daughter, Valerie Lyndall Standford (Walter) of Kannapolis, her 4 grandchildren, her sister, Vera Ann Brown (Bill) of Statesville and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday May 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with the funeral beginning at 7:00 PM at Central Baptist Church, 1810 Moose Rd. Kannapolis. Rev. Curtis Parker will be officiating. A graveside service with burial will be held at noon, Saturday, May 20 at Carolina Memorial Park.
